LKU Luft-Klima-Umwelttechnik GmbH trains technical system planners for building services engineering; depending on prior schooling the apprenticeship lasts 2.5 to 3.5 years. Good knowledge of maths, physics and technical crafts, at least a lower secondary certificate and ideally an intermediate school leaving certificate are expected, along with structured work and good manners; strong German language skills in speech and writing are desirable. A car driving licence is an advantage. The company offers comprehensive training in the family-like setting of a business recognised in 2017 for personnel management and possible permanent employment after passing the exam.
